Step-Gästehaus

This renovated gästehaus is located a couple of blocks from the Kulturzentrum, within easy walking distance to the pedestrian zone (Hauptstrasse) near the center of downtown. The gästehaus offers single, double, and triple room housing that includes private bath, linen service, and free wifi in each room and throughout the house. Each floor has a kitchen with refrigerator available and pantry. Daily breakfast buffet included with eggs, sausage/meat, rolls/bread, cheese, yogurt, cereals, jam, honey, butter, fruit, hot and cold beverages. Rehearsal rooms available for musicians wanting to practice. Nearby shopping and restaurants are in convenient walking distance.

The double and triple room housing option is included in festival fee. Single room housing is available for an additional $128.

Karl Wirt Gästehaus
(formerly Wirtschaftkammer Burgenland)

The Karl Wirt Gastehaus is located in the Chamber of Commerce Building located at Robert-Graf-Platz 1. It is a 5 minute walk to the city center, train station and Hotel Ohr. All 20 single rooms are air conditioned and one double room with a/c. Rooms include private bath, linens, TV, internet, desk, and breakfast buffet. The rooms do not include hair dryers so you will need to bring your own. The on-site restaurant offers a daily menu and pizza can be ordered from 11 am - 6 pm.

This upgrade is $293 for a single room, $280 per person for a double room.

Weinhaus Wagner

Weinhaus Wagner is a delightful small guesthouse located in the Oberberg across from the Bergkirche with a wine cellar dating back to before the time of Haydn. Eight lovely guestrooms designed for double occupancy are named after the wines of the region. The quaint breakfast room and living area provide pleasant places to visit with friends. All rooms include private bath, TV, hairdryer and internet. Rooms are on the second and third floors, accessible by stairs; no elevator. The hotel is a block from the Bergkirche and short walk to the Esterházy Palace and Haydn Konservatorium. Daily breakfast included.

Upgrade cost for double room without a/c is included in festival fee (Weissburgunder Room and Zweigelt Room).

Upgrade cost for double room with a/c is $191 per person (Blaufrankisch Room, Grüner Veltliner Room, Traminer Room, Rose Room, and Einklang Natur).

The spacious Gewürtztraminer Suite includes a/c and has a living area and balcony overlooking a lovely garden area. Upgrade cost for the suite $382 per person, double occupancy.

Hotel Ohr

This excellent family-run four-star hotel also has a charming outdoor garden for dining and one of the best restaurants in Northern Burgenland. Gasthof Ohr offers both double and single air conditioned rooms which include private bath, free internet, hair dryer, color TV, and phone. Some rooms will accommodate up to three people with a chair bed. Rooms are on the second and third floors and accessible by elevator or stairs. Daily buffet breakfast included.

Upgrade cost for double rooms with twin beds is $306 per person; double room with double bed is $509 per person; single room housing is $509; deluxe double room, double occupancy is $636 per person.
